Dboi also known as Dboi Da Dome has always loved music. He is the youngest of three children, so he is no stranger to hard work-always having to work harder to get noticed. His household was pretty ordinary growing up with both parents in the home. As he got older life became more chaotic. He survived being shot, in several bad car accidents, and the loss of a child and many close friends. These tragedies helped him develop a spirit of determination to succeed. Music was always a passion for Dboi. MTV, BET and the box was always on the TV. He soon realized that he had a gift to go along with his passion. Dboi decided to take his experiences, lay it down on a track and bring his audience into some of the deepest parts of his life.
The music he creates about Baltimore is in the realest sense possible. Dboi has several videos such as “Boyz from Da Ave”, “Dboi Da Dome I’m Back” and a couple others on World Star Hip Hop and YouTube. When asked how he would describe himself he replied “inspiring, versatile, real, catchy, and commercial.” DBoi is currently managed by Varsity Entertainment. The first mixtape titled “Strainer to the Speaker” dropped in February 2010. The next one titled “Paid in Full” dropped in October 2010.
