The "Pursuit of Happiness" is one of the most famous phrases used today. It's even mentioned in the United States Declaration of Independence. Considered by some as part of one of the most well crafted, influential sentences in the history of the English language. For me the understanding is this, "Life is a Continuum, and the Happiness is the cumulative good result of riding out the waves crashing against you".
